by

As part of the 15th poetry festival berlin the exhibition “Kling und Pastior: Text – Stimme – Bild“ of the literature Workshop Berlin is presented from 5 to 13 June 2014 at the Academy of the Arts in Berlin-Tiergarten.
In an interdisciplinary exhibition poetry is shown in the artistic expressions of the manuscript, the spoken word and the drawing within one spatial context.

In collaboration with the Literature Workshop Berlin and the curator Friedrich Block (Kassel) deluse architects designed a three-dimensional wall structure in order to present the small format works tangible as one artistic unity in the foyer of the Academy of the Arts.

deluse architects finished up in second place – competition urban planning Krystallpalast-Areal in Leipzig

by

deluse architects were invited to the discursive workshop process for the urban development of a 22.000 m² fallow property right next to Leipzig´s central station.
In 1990 the biggest funfair of Germany including the legendary Krystallpalast, which served as an event hall and was built after the London example, were located here. Using the historic context and especially its dimensions for their concept- a modern urban space of remembrance surrounded by residential and office buildings, was created. Deluse architects came out second in the final selection and will be involved in the upcoming planning development.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE BRANDENBURG MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND CONSUMERISM AND THE MINISTRY OF EMPLOYMENT, SOCIAL AFFAIRS, WOMEN AND FAMILY

As the winner of a PPP-process of Brandenburg for the construction of two new ministries, the Strabag RE has emerged. She commissioned GKK and the working partnership SEHW – delusearchitects for the architectural services.

The envisaged building complex is sectioned by varying heights and will consist of 3 inner courtyards. Prominent features such as apertures, arcades, roof terraces and bridges create generous and accessible work areas, which in turn provide an approachable and citizen-friendly atmosphere for the administrative departments. The distinctive transparent design of the foyer and a central corridor on the ground level offer a direct view into this modern office building for two pivotal Brandenburg ministries.
